Another weekend, another fun and exciting street festival in Toronto! Thursday, August 27th, marks the return of the Toronto International Buskerfest for Eplipsy in the Downtown Yonge Neighbourhood. This is the largest epilepsy fundraiser in the world, and the largest street performer festival in North America!
According to the organizers, “There is something for everyone; silent comedy and slapstick, daredevils and magicians, high skill circus acts and a wide variety of music, clowns, contortionists, acrobats, aerialists, puppets, fire and a few things we have no words to describe.”
170 performers. 70 acts. Representatives from Canada, Brazil, The Netherlands, Japan, Australia, and more. This year’s Buskerfest is sure to entertain young and old alike. They’ve even introduced a new Family Fun Zone this year with activities for the kids, and some of Toronto’s “silliest street performers.”
